The 2019 March for Music Education Residency in Kingston is led by a visiting resident musician or music producer. The Residency is designed to provide access to arts programming more broadly in the community through a partnership with Manifesto Jamaica.
From March 26-29 Spanky will be delivering workshops and masterclasses at the Alpha Institute. He will also play a jam session on the evening of March 29 at The Haven, which will be open to the public. Proceeds from the jam session will support youth music education including at the Alpha Institute. We are extending a special invitation to student musicians to bring their instruments and come out to jam with Spanky.
